Recently i did some graphic design for Melbourne sound company JOLT. They create experimental and found sound combined with orchestral music. There recent project over the weekend at Footscray Community Arts Centre was a free gig where the sound was made with Jolt artists as well as the Amplified Elephants, a disability sound group from melb as well as Noise Scavengers a youth based group founded at the Cloverdale Community Centre in Geelong. Those who follow my work may recognise my elephant in the gas mask…as i was told to do my thing and use my artwork within the design…which is always the best kind of graphic design!

So if your out and about in melb keep your eyes peeled for my elephant billposters, there should be 500 round town. There will also be a cool poster coming out soon with a vulture on a pile of electrical and white goods…also featuring a TV with a mash up of Charles Manson and a Buddha! So keep your eyes peeled!

There is also another gig coming up in december at 45 downstairs, in Melbourne.

Visit there site for further details on times, dates and prices >>

Space Invaders is an exhibition now open at the NGA in Canberra. It is probably one of the most important exhibitions relating to street art that has been seen in Australia. It gives the artform some real respect and places it into a serious art context. So if this is your thing and you can get up there it will be well worth the effort.

Below is a link to a story about the exhibition off the ABC…in it you can see one of my ‘Think Tank’ stickers on display up there.

Here is my new print, “Ceci n’est pas un Banksy”.  Sold a few of these over at the Sweet Streets festival. It’s just a bit of a piss take on how anything using a stencil is called a Banksy. What about Blek? …among others!

Anyway, this was originally made just as a tongue in cheek image for a friend…originally titled, “The treachery of copyright images”. Looks sweet in the flesh…a solid and lush deep flat blue to it.

Email me if you want one…going for about $70 AUD (plus postage).
