T-Shirts the Old Skool way…
Here is the documentation shots from a recent workshop i was asked to do at a local community centre in my hometown. We were making T-Shirts using spray cans, stencils and markers. Overall, I think there were some excellent results and all involved had a great day.

A couple of darker artworks. Inspired by the build up of textures on the surfaces of walls in the city. Bill posters, graffiti, mould and pollution were the inspiration behind these ones.

New Book – Fast Food for Thought

My new books just arrived this week, and saw their first outing at the Festival of the Photocopier – Zine Fair. They were well recieved and a I moved a few copies which was exciting. The zine fair originally planned for the City Square was shifted underground to the Degraves Underpass on Flinders Street due to Melbournes unpredictable weather. Weather and relocating issues aside, we still saw a full house in terms of crowds which was great, and there was a really good vibe for the event.

Well as you can see this one is still wet on the floor of the Studio. Another paster on canvas. In fact this image was made as a joke to email to a friend ages back…then i found it again and thought ” I actually like this!”. So here it is as a painting now. It’s also available here as a dodgy lo-fi print edition >>

Here are a couple of new works that i have been doing over the weekend. They are kind of just paste ups of my computer based work on canvas…hopefully keeping the street aesthetic alive.
Everywhere CCTV – Mixed Media on Canvas (25 x 30 cms)
Soldier of Misfortune – Mixed Media on Canvas (30 x 30 cms)
And while on the SoMF image above, I am thinking it might make a nice image for a hand sprayed screen print edition?!
Welcome aboard!
