Yesterday while in Melbourne I popped into the Blender Studios to say hi and stayed around for Trails…a melbourne tradition and a fun night of drawing. Always a worthwhile session if your about when its on. It took place in the new Silent Army Storeroom a zine/small press outlet put together by Michael Fikaris. One of the warm ups we did to get people to be a bit looser and have fun was a surrealist drawing type of game of Chinese Whispers. Each artist had five minutes to do a drawing then would flash the drawing for five seconds to the person next to them to redraw within a minute, this repeated until all players had drawn a variation of all other artist’s artworks. Make sense? Well we found it complex too…especially after a few drinks!

Anyway below are the images (In sequence) based on my drawing of a skull made out of worms…

Not a bad way to get 81 drawings from 9 people in ten or fifteen minutes!

She has been a fairly sick little one having an epileptic fit, issues walking as well as being fairly under nourished…but she is so cute, and has starting to settle in gained 500 gms in the last week alone showing a healthy appetite.

So say hi to Audrey…

Well its been a few weeks since i have updated here. So it has been interesting times…I have been busy with work stuff but was also out of action for a bit with a torn calf muscle…yes painful, and it went pop…out loud!

The Sweet Streets festival has finally come to a close. It proved to be sucessful for me with my painting in the award show selling, as well as four prints i had in the folio on the mech desk. My piece created in the collingwood underground art park also found a home as part of the charity auction. There were a few serious bargins to be had at the auction, so if you missed it be sure to get along to next years one if you want to take home some seriously cool art at great prices, and help a charity in the process.

Anyway, I will be updating a bit more over the coming week, but here are a few cool shots from the collingwood underground. I only had time to get some pasties together…but its all good!

Head to head with HaHa…mine is the skull stencil. You can also see the magnifying glass by phoenix the street artist, and some little men by Civil. (Not sure who did the quote piece or the pyramid one)

Sexy Scissors…

My little terrorist…

No Frills Mickey vs HaHa…pretty sure he’s going to get smashed!

Peace Out!
